This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds related to your purchase of 1% services ("Services") operated by Wingman Group LLC ("we," "us," or "our").
By purchasing a subscription to our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Refund Policy.
1. GENERAL REFUND POLICY - 1% APP
We offer a 30-day refund window for the Trial plan only if you meet the following eligibility requirements:
- You are on the Trial plan (monthly subscription)
- You are a first-time client (no previous subscriptions to our Services)
- You attend a brief feedback call with our team to share your experience
Important: The Lite and Premium plans are non-refundable. This refund policy applies exclusively to the Trial plan.
If you meet all of these requirements, you must cancel your subscription, attend the feedback call, and contact us to request a refund within 30 days of signing up. Cancelling alone does not automatically trigger a refund—you must actively request one and complete the feedback call. After this period, all sales are final and non-refundable.
We believe in our service and want you to be satisfied. However, due to the nature of our Services—which include immediate access to proprietary content, human editors, and resources—we must limit our refund eligibility.
2. ELIGIBILITY FOR REFUNDS
2.1 You ARE Eligible for a Refund If:
- You are on the Trial plan
- You are a first-time client (no previous subscriptions to 1%)
- You cancel your subscription within 30 days of your initial subscription purchase
- You attend a brief feedback call with our team (typically 10-15 minutes) to share your experience
- You contact us to request a refund (cancelling alone is not sufficient)
- You were charged in error (e.g., duplicate charges, unauthorized charges)
- We completely fail to deliver the Services as described (at our sole discretion)
2.2 You are NOT Eligible for a Refund If:
- You are on the Lite or Premium plan (these plans are non-refundable)
- You are not on the Trial plan
- You have previously been a 1% subscriber (returning clients are not eligible)
- More than 30 days have passed since your initial subscription
- You did not attend the required feedback call or failed to show up to a scheduled call
- You cancelled but did not contact us to request a refund
- You violated our Terms of Service or Fair Use Policy
- You are requesting a refund for renewal charges (see Section 3)
- Your dating app account was banned or restricted
- You didn't achieve desired results (we cannot guarantee matches or dates)
- You simply changed your mind after the 30-day window
- You purchased additional credits (credit top-up purchases are non-refundable)
- You are requesting credits back for a DFY (Done-For-You) photo request where work has already begun (see Section 9)
3. SUBSCRIPTION RENEWALS
Renewal charges are non-refundable for all plans (Trial, Lite, and Premium). All 1% plans operate on a subscription basis, and it is your responsibility to cancel before your renewal date if you do not wish to continue.
To avoid unwanted charges:
- Cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date
- Set a reminder for yourself to review your subscription
- Check your account settings to confirm your renewal date
- Note: Unused credits roll over to the next billing period
4. HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND
To request a refund within the eligible period:
- Email us at support@onepercent.dating
- Include your account email and order details
- Explain your reason for requesting a refund
- We will schedule a brief feedback call (10-15 minutes) to discuss your experience
- After attending the feedback call, we will review your refund request and respond within 3-5 business days
Feedback Call Requirement: The feedback call is a mandatory part of the refund process for Trial plan subscribers. During this call, we'll ask about your experience with our Services to help us improve. Failure to attend a scheduled feedback call will result in refund ineligibility. We understand schedules can be challenging and will work with you to find a convenient time within the 30-day refund window.
4.1 Refund Payment Methods
Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days through one of the following methods:
- Original Payment Method: Default option, refunded to the card or payment method used for purchase
- Bank Transfer: Direct transfer to your bank account (may require additional verification)
- Wise Transfer: International transfer via Wise (formerly TransferWise)
- Other Methods: We may offer alternative globally accepted payment methods at our discretion
Note: For refunds via bank transfer or alternative methods, you may need to provide additional information such as:
- Bank account details (account number, routing number, SWIFT/BIC)
- Full legal name matching the bank account
- Address verification
- Alternative payment platform account details
Processing times may vary depending on the refund method chosen and your location. International transfers may take longer and could incur fees from intermediary banks (which we are not responsible for).
5. SERVICE ISSUES
If you experience technical issues:
- Report the issue to support@onepercent.dating
- We will work to resolve issues as quickly as possible
- Service interruptions do not qualify for refunds
- We do not guarantee 100% uptime
By subscribing, you acknowledge that online services may experience occasional downtime and this does not entitle you to a refund.
6. PARTIAL REFUNDS
We do not offer partial refunds or pro-rated refunds for unused time. If you cancel your subscription, you will continue to have access until the end of your current billing period.
7. CHARGEBACKS
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card company. We're committed to resolving issues directly.
If you initiate a chargeback without first attempting to resolve the issue with us:
- Your account will be immediately terminated
- You will be permanently banned from our Services
- We may pursue legal action to recover costs and fees
8. CREDIT TOP-UP PURCHASES
Any additional credit top-up purchases are NOT refundable under any circumstances. This applies regardless of whether you qualify for a refund on your base subscription. However, unused credits do roll over to future billing periods, giving you flexibility in how you use them.
9. DFY (DONE-FOR-YOU) SERVICES — CREDIT NON-REFUNDABILITY
Credits spent on DFY (Done-For-You) photo requests are non-refundable once work has begun on your order. DFY services involve dedicated human editors who commit time and resources upon accepting your request. Because of this:
- Credits are deducted at the time you submit a DFY request
- Once an editor has started working on your request, those credits cannot be returned to your account under any circumstances
- This applies even if you cancel the request, are dissatisfied with the result, or choose not to use the final deliverables
- If your request has not yet been picked up by an editor, you may contact us to cancel and receive a credit refund to your account at our discretion
We encourage you to review your request details carefully before submitting, and to use the unlimited variations offered under our Fair Use Policy (see Terms of Service, Section 2.6) to ensure you are satisfied with the final output rather than requesting a credit reversal.
10. SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES
We may, at our sole discretion, offer refunds outside these policies in cases of:
- Documented medical emergencies
- Death of the account holder
- Other extraordinary circumstances
Such exceptions are rare and require appropriate documentation.
11. NO GUARANTEE OF RESULTS
We do not offer refunds based on dating outcomes. Success in online dating depends on many factors beyond our control, including your profile quality, messaging skills, availability, and compatibility with matches. Our Services provide tools and resources, but results are not guaranteed.
12. MODIFICATIONS TO THIS POLICY
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will apply to new subscriptions and renewals but will not affect refund eligibility for existing subscriptions at the time of purchase.
