Refund Policy

This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds related to your purchase of 1% services ("Services") operated by WINGMAN AI PTY LTD ("we," "us," or "our").

By purchasing a subscription to our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Refund Policy.

1. GENERAL REFUND POLICY - 1% APP

We offer a 2-day refund window for new subscriptions. If you cancel your subscription within 2 days of signing up, you are eligible for a full refund. After this period, all sales are final and non-refundable.

We believe in our service and want you to be satisfied. However, due to the nature of our Services—which include immediate access to proprietary content, human editors, and resources—we must limit our refund window.

2. 50 MATCHES GUARANTEED OFFER

For customers who purchase our "50 Matches Guaranteed" coaching package (sold separately from the 1% app), we offer a full refund if you fail to get 50 matches on dating apps, provided you have adhered to ALL of the following conditions:

  • Use the photos prescribed by your Profile Expert
  • Attend at least 1 Office Hours Call every week
  • Share your profile and request feedback on the Office Hours Call
  • Send a photo of your matches screen every week to your Profile Expert
  • Promptly respond to our messages in Slack regarding your profile within 48 hours

If you do not cooperate with these conditions, we will void the guarantee and notify you via Slack and email. We may, at our discretion, terminate your membership with a full refund instead.

Refund Timeline: Refund requests for the "50 Matches Guaranteed" offer must be made within 31 days of the payment date. Requests made after this period will not be eligible for a refund.

3. ELIGIBILITY FOR REFUNDS - 1% APP

3.1 You ARE Eligible for a Refund If:

  • You cancel within 2 days (48 hours) of your initial subscription purchase
  • You were charged in error (e.g., duplicate charges, unauthorized charges)
  • We completely fail to deliver the Services as described (at our sole discretion)

3.2 You are NOT Eligible for a Refund If:

  • More than 2 days have passed since your initial subscription
  • You have already submitted image editing requests to our Image Studio
  • You have downloaded or accessed content from our Photo Bank
  • You violated our Terms of Service
  • You are requesting a refund for renewal charges (see Section 3)
  • Your dating app account was banned or restricted (we are not responsible for third-party platform actions)
  • You didn't achieve desired results (we cannot guarantee matches or dates)
  • You simply changed your mind after the 2-day window
  • Service interruptions or technical issues occurred

4. SUBSCRIPTION RENEWALS

Weekly renewal charges are non-refundable. Our service operates on a weekly subscription basis, and it is your responsibility to cancel before your renewal date if you do not wish to continue.

To avoid unwanted charges:

  • Cancel at least 24 hours before your weekly renewal date
  • Set a reminder for yourself to review your subscription
  • Check your account settings to confirm your renewal date

5. HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND

To request a refund within the eligible period:

  • Email us at support@onepercent.dating
  • Include your account email and order details
  • Explain your reason for requesting a refund
  • We will review and respond within 3-5 business days

5.1 Refund Payment Methods

Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days through one of the following methods:

  • Original Payment Method: Default option, refunded to the card or payment method used for purchase
  • Bank Transfer: Direct transfer to your bank account (may require additional verification)
  • Wise Transfer: International transfer via Wise (formerly TransferWise)
  • Other Methods: We may offer alternative globally accepted payment methods at our discretion

Note: For refunds via bank transfer or alternative methods, you may need to provide additional information such as:

  • Bank account details (account number, routing number, SWIFT/BIC)
  • Full legal name matching the bank account
  • Address verification
  • Alternative payment platform account details

Processing times may vary depending on the refund method chosen and your location. International transfers may take longer and could incur fees from intermediary banks (which we are not responsible for).

6. SERVICE ISSUES

If you experience technical issues:

  • Report the issue to support@onepercent.dating
  • We will work to resolve issues as quickly as possible
  • Service interruptions do not qualify for refunds
  • We do not guarantee 100% uptime

By subscribing, you acknowledge that online services may experience occasional downtime and this does not entitle you to a refund.

7. PARTIAL REFUNDS

We do not offer partial refunds or pro-rated refunds for unused time. If you cancel your subscription, you will continue to have access until the end of your current billing period.

8. CHARGEBACKS

Please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card company. We're committed to resolving issues directly.

If you initiate a chargeback without first attempting to resolve the issue with us:

  • Your account will be immediately terminated
  • You will be permanently banned from our Services
  • We may pursue legal action to recover costs and fees

9. EARLY ACCESS PRICING

If you subscribed during our early access period at $139/week, this special pricing is contingent on maintaining continuous membership. If you cancel and later resubscribe, you will be subject to current pricing (up to $199/week).

10. SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES

We may, at our sole discretion, offer refunds outside these policies in cases of:

  • Documented medical emergencies
  • Death of the account holder
  • Other extraordinary circumstances

Such exceptions are rare and require appropriate documentation.

11. NO GUARANTEE OF RESULTS

We do not offer refunds based on dating outcomes. Success in online dating depends on many factors beyond our control, including your profile quality, messaging skills, availability, and compatibility with matches. Our Services provide tools and resources, but results are not guaranteed.

12. MODIFICATIONS TO THIS POLICY

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will apply to new subscriptions and renewals but will not affect refund eligibility for existing subscriptions at the time of purchase.
